TIKTOK CREATOR REWARDS

TikTok RPM Calculator

The Creator Rewards Program replaced the old Creator Fund with an RPM model tied to real ad demand — a 10–25x jump for most eligible creators. This calculator applies current market and niche benchmarks to your qualified views.

What counts as a qualified view

Not every view earns. TikTok pays Creator Rewards only on videos over 60 seconds, and only for views that hold attention for at least 5 seconds without being marked "not interested." In practice, qualified views run somewhere between 40% and 70% of a video’s total view count — which is why raw view count alone is a poor predictor of payout.

Eligibility itself requires 10,000+ followers, 100,000+ views in the past 30 days, an 18+ personal account in good standing, and residence in an eligible market.

Typical Creator Rewards RPM

SegmentRPM rangeUnit
Overall program average$0.4–$1per 1,000 qualified views
Finance / tech / legal / B2B$1–$2.5per 1,000 qualified views
Beauty / fitness / food$0.4–$0.8per 1,000 qualified views
Pure entertainment$0.2–$0.45per 1,000 qualified views

Market matters as much as niche: US audiences typically sit near the top of the range, while some Southeast American and Southeast Asian markets can run to a third of that.

Frequently asked questions

How much does TikTok pay per 1,000 views?

Creator Rewards pays roughly $0.40 to $1.00 per 1,000 qualified views for most niches, with finance, tech, and legal content reaching $1.50–$2.50 and occasional outliers higher still.

Why did my TikTok RPM drop?

The two most common causes are a shift toward shorter videos (under 60 seconds earn nothing) and an audience skewing toward lower-RPM markets. Both are visible in TikTok’s Creator Rewards dashboard breakdown.

Is Creator Rewards the same as the old Creator Fund?

No. The Creator Fund paid a flat $0.02–$0.04 per 1,000 views from a fixed pool. Creator Rewards, launched in 2023, pays based on ad demand and content quality signals — originality, watch time, and engagement — which is why payouts rose roughly 10–25x for eligible creators.

Do TikTok Shop and brand deals count toward RPM?

No — RPM here refers only to the Creator Rewards Program. Brand deals, TikTok Shop commissions, and LIVE gifting are separate income streams reported and paid differently.
